Weekly Pow Wow

That’s what Native Americans called their tribal get togethers. Though not weekly. Here I’m referring to the weekly chat my two sisters and I have, instigated by the eldest, Connie. It’s something I look forward to.

Today I was amazed, but not surprised, to find out Patti had clarified a math equation in the college classroom. The professor admitted he had never considered her simplified version, which was accurately true. Kudos Patti!!

Then Connie told me, after watching my video”Restless”, that my vocal narration impressed her. She encouraged me to pursue my Audio book narration idea. That meant a lot. I need two 60-90 second demos. I’ve recorded one from “The Heart of Darkness” by Joseph Conrad. The second will be from “I, Fellini”, which reads like an autobiography, but was actually written by Charlotte Chandler. It’s a delightful book. I haven’t chosen an exciting passage yet, there are so many.

Aiding me in the process are three new pair of reading glasses. My cataracts are fixed, but I still need readers to read. My ophthalmologist warned me that would be the case.

So, yes, zoom indeed!!

Oh, I wanted to add that the aerial shots I took for “Restless” took place because a fellow student at U. Tennessee was a pilot. He took me up in a Cessna as a favor and it was a blast! Thanks go to Pilot Tim Nagy.
