With two Dr. appointments tomorrow, I got everything ready. Confirmed both appointments, scheduled rides, bathed and set out clothes. Great! Now to find something I haven’t watched on Netflix. I started a couple of movies. I can’t say they were ‘boring’. They were of no interest to me, dramatically or writing wise. I was getting ready to hit the sack, when I realized I must charge my phone. I will definitely need it tomorrow. Whew!
Nick filled in for Myra today. He enthusiastically showed me photos that he had taken on his latest Urban exploration. This time he and his partner avoided security to access a waterfront apartment complex in Sausalito under construction. I asked him about legality and private property issues. He said if they did get caught, he had his camera to defend the fact that he is harmless. No weapons, not stealing. I don’t know about how that would play to security personnel. So far he hasn’t been stopped. I think the appeal to him for this activity is the daring and curiosity. He’s 21. All I can say is that this lengthy description made me so glad I didn’t invite him to join me for my birthday lunch. I would have wanted to change tables.
On Saturday, in addition to Open Studios here, it was announced today that there will be a group photo of Artaudians, to be taken on the roof at 6 pm. This is to update the last group photo, used for community announcements to the public. We members are, after all, the meaning and founders of Project Artaud. The announcement said it will be taken by a professional Photographer. We have a couple of professional photographers in our membership, but then they wouldn’t be in the group shot. That gives me 3 hours between my welcoming to the public reception shift to visit my neighbors’ studios and see what art they are displaying (and hopefully selling). Naturally, I have to plan what to wear.
Never too ready….
