That’s the name of the orthotics the Dr. advised me to get. Also, I’m supposed to get orthotic style shoes. Oh joy. I may compose a picture of all the beautiful shoes in my closet and make it into a logo, if my post orthotic budget permits. It was a sad day.

On my way out, there was an eyeglass store which I would have stopped at to get an extra pair of reading glasses, but I’d already called a cab. I surely didn’t want to miss that.

Age and arthritis, no cure.

There’s a lot to be said for retirement. However, I find myself missing working. My business was great. My clients were great. And the income was steady and higher than what Social Security provides. Also, I had disposable income which allowed me the luxury to purchase designer shoes and get facials.

OK, the positive part of retirement. Plenty of time to write and perform solo shows. So far: “Postcards” and “ 3 Animas of C.G.Jung” . Reading voraciously, and paying too much attention to news.

Oh, and Netflix. When my current day is done (personal business, cooking, workout, reading, etc.) I tune in. I now have gotten caught up with “The Way Home”. This series was initially confusing. It revolves around time travel. I didn’t know that at first. What are all the same characters doing in two separate centuries, in the same location? Once I ‘got’ it, I went with the jumpy flow. Like all series, each episode leaves you with a cliff hanger. Andie McDowell plays the matron, and she’s good.

Time to hang my head over my pillows….
