a Beautiful Day in my Neighborhood

‘forever wars’ aside, it was a Beautiful Day in my Neighborhood because I watched the Mister Rogers remake with Tom Hanks. Touching, feel-good and a bit of a tear jerker. Tom Hanks is the kind of actor that is a good fit for a spiritual activist like Fred Rogers. So, that was a definite mood lift. The plot goes: a cynical investigative reporter with low ratings is ordered to improve his image by doing a piece on Fred Rogers. Completing the assignment turns the reporter’s life around. OK, I’m a sap. It was really good!

To make my day even better, my floors got washed, thanks to the wonderful Myra. And I got my workout in on the dust free floor. I stretched with joy.

Now, to make sure the zoom works for tomorrow’s sister meeting and a pleasant good night. Unless I think of something else.
