Learning this phone

I spent some time reading what this phone can do.  I’m beginning to grasp the range.  And the first conclusion I’ve come to is that I can and should get my own domain.  WordPress seems to be the best, but I don’t really know what a domain is.  My soon not be a ‘teenage’ computer advisor (he turns 20 on July 23rd) will be by soon.  That’s on my list of questions.

The thing is, what I need to learn is so elemental to Nick, that he explains it quickly, pressing buttons, etc.  before I can take notes and see what he’s doing.  This should be simple.  Make him slow down.  And it was helpful to play around with the thing by myself.  Basically it scares me.

I finished reading ‘All Creatures Great and Small’.  Sweet book.  The main character, James Herriot, has a weakness of being too cautious.  Of course, he’s dealing with the lives of animals.  It does turn out that sometimes he has to take that leap of faith – in himself.

Anyway, I called the library and requested four new books by mail.  Kevin is the nice guy that takes care of this.  Three were already out on loan, but they may have ‘Rose in Bloom’ by Louisa May Alcott .  It’s the sequel to ‘Little Women’.  I had never heard of it until I finished  “Little Women’ and it was listed on the back page.  Hope so, have to find out what happened to Rose.

Patti sent a waving French flag for Bastille Day.  That was fun to receive!  I called Brenda (Vaea’s widow) to wish her the same.  Brenda’s a Brit, but her husband, Vaea, was most definitely French.  I’m sure art was their common denominator.

Our weekly sister chat is just hours away.  This was a very good idea of Connie’s.
