I’m not sure why I find Rick Steves OK and conversely Lucy Worsley irritating? They both cover topics I’m interested in. Steves-travel and Worsley-history.

Alright, I wasn’t that interested in Steves’ coverage of Berlin. Usually, he has an amiable, approachable, down-to-earth style. His stylists always have him in lavender or blue shirts which compliment his coloring.

Lucy Worsley,phd. tends to ‘play act’ in the locations she reports on. She doesn’t go as far as getting her head chopped off under the reign of Henry the V111. But she is on location in period dress. I don’t see Rick Steves posing as a gondolier in Venice. But if that’s just me.
