I just got a flyer in the mail offering Teladoc Health for free through my health insurance. What it provides is a smart scale and coaching on nutrition, meal plans and weight loss.
I don’t know. I’ve never had a scale. I judge by how my clothes fit and when I go to the doctor in person I am weighed. I eat well (thank you California produce) and exercise. The benefit of this program is to reduce the risk of Diabetes 2. That’s what got my partner of twelve years, Mel Gordon. I miss him everyday. He ate well and played racket ball.
Qui sait? With years, while I haven’t gained weight, it has redistributed. And I’ve lost an inch and a half in height. If I had a choice, that wouldn’t be true. Where’s the beauty in that?
What do you think?
