It’s a good thing I only have two eyes. Otherwise, I’d have to repeat the pre-op for cataract surgery every six months.
To be ready for June 17th, I had blood work done today. Not a big deal, except finding a place that takes my insurance. Today it was Quest Diagnostics. In the waiting room (waiting rooms turn out to be interesting places), there was a man with an eighty lb. Husky.
The man’s name was Emilio, I didn’t get the dog’s name but whatever it was, the dog wanted to kiss my face. I love dogs and was sad when Emilio got called.
My turn came. Jaime C was my tech. I made a comment about needles. Jaime was 28 and he plans to pursue a career in forensics. I asked why out of curiosity. As Jaime put it, his intuition is strong and he likes solving mysteries. There’s a guy with a plan.
Continuing on the dog theme, I watched “Rescued by Ruby” this evening. I don’t cry easily, I came close to it.
