Primary Election ‘26

My intent here is not to sway or endorse anyone/thing. Just thoughts about the process.

Coming out of Safeway two days consecutively, I was naturally approached by petition workers. On the second day, I told the person with pen and petition clipboard that I’d already signed. She said there was a new one just today. It seemed fair enough to make the ballot and I signed.

I do urge everyone to vote. I sometimes think, “What the F___ does it matter”? It does. You can’t grouse about the idiot in the White House otherwise.

I worked at the polls two different years. The second, I was in charge of that precinct. It was a long day, made longer by tallying and returning the ballots to Rincon Annex. But there was a true feeling of having contributed to the democratic process in a small but essential way. And you definitely meet People.

At the very least VOTE!
