I had an ambitious day. What I enjoy is taking cabs around San Francisco. Example: one driver was a boat person from VietNam. Arrived in N.Y. , relocated to Florida and finally here on the West Coast. What a long way around.

Usually, the drivers are not from San Francisco. They are immigrants and live in the East Bay or further south. Cost.

So, I did the pre-op requirements for the Aortic valve replacement. Another pre-op with the primary doc on Thursday.

It’s tough getting around, as I don’t see clearly. Add to that mobility. Street curbs. Yes, I am grateful to be in an urban area where transportation is available. As long as I can find my cell phone.

Sun’s-out and could be worse.

With the recent rain, the ants have returned. I feel guilty killing them. I also like food. Without their peppery bodies.
